Our shipping policy for furniture

  • The Bow Valley, Calgary and Cochrane: We offer free delivery and assembly services to all customers located in the area that comprises Kananaskis, Canmore, Banff, Lake Louise and the hamlets of Dead Man’s Flats, Exshaw, Harvie Heights, Lac des Arcs, Cochrane and the city Calgary.

  • Other Canadian Regions: For locations outside the specified areas above, our team will assess the situation and offer either drop shipping services or tailored shipping options to best suit your needs.

  • US and International Shipping: Free shipping does not apply to International deliveries. Our team will request a shipping quote and provide you with details to confirm and proceed with payment. Note that we are not responsible for duties and export charges within your destination country.
  • Local Pick Up: Free collection from our Canmore locations, Stonewaters Downtown or Spaces. Our team will notify you when it’s ready.
What is Drop shipping?
At Stonewaters, we embrace drop shipping as a sustainable fulfillment method to reduce waste and prevent overstocking. Rather than keeping large quantities of products in our warehouse, we only order items when they are purchased. This allows us to minimize excess inventory and lower our environmental impact. When you place an order, we source the product directly from our trusted supplier, who ships it straight to you, ensuring a more efficient and eco-friendly process.

Shipping Floor Models:
If you've purchased a floor model from one of our locations, our team is here to help! We'll work with you to find the most cost-effective and efficient shipping solution. Once we've identified the best option, we'll confirm the details with you and handle the entire process from start to finish. Our goal is to get your product to you as quickly and smoothly as possible.

about our Assembly Services:

Our Assembly Services cover the area of the Bow Valley, Calgary and Cochrane. This designated service is free of charge and includes a dedicated team from Stonewaters that will coordinate your order, delivery and assembly of furniture on-site, leaving no packaging behind.

Our team of experts will connect with you when your furniture is ready to schedule a delivery day and time that works on your end. Leave the rest up to us! Please note that our team does not remove your previous furniture nor dispose of any old items.

How long does it take for my furniture order to arrive?

  • In-stock Furniture: We work with Canadian brands that estimate deliveries to happen between 2-4 weeks if the product is in stock in their warehouse. Prior to purchase, our team can check the stock availability and estimated dates to provide you with the most accurate timing possible.

  • Made-to-order Sofas & Sectionals: Our customizable pieces are made-to-order in Vancouver and take 8-10 weeks of production depending on manufacturing timeliness. Our team will provide you with an estimated timing prior to placing your order. 

Why has my furniture order been delayed?

Material shortages and carrier delays may occur outside of Stonewaters’ control. Our team will monitor and follow up with every order and keep you always informed.

WHAT IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND?

We understand that plans can change. While we’ll always do our best to accommodate you, it’s important to be familiar with our return and refund policy before making a big decision like purchasing a furniture piece.

A few pro tips from our team to help you feel confident in your purchase:
  1. Measure your space carefully, from entry points and hallways to your floor plan, to make sure your new piece fits just right.
  2. Read the full product description so you know what to expect in terms of size, materials, and finish.
  3. Not sure about the colour or details? Send us an email, or give us a call, we're happy to share extra info to give you peace of mind.

Can I change or cancel an existing furniture order?

If you haven’t moved forward with payment, please make sure to connect with your sales representative to cancel or modify your order. If the process of ordering has started, our team will assess the situation and cancel your order, however restocking fees will apply.
  • Made-to-order products: Please note that paid customized orders cannot be cancelled if the production process has started.
  • Travelling products: Unfortunately, if an order needs to be cancelled and it is already travelling to your home or to Stonewaters, a restocking fee of 30% will be required. This fee will apply because cancelled items will need to be returned to the supplier or our warehouse.

What is the restocking fee?

Furniture items (excluding made-to-order pieces) may be returned within 15 business days of delivery. A 30% restocking fee will apply.

This restocking fee helps us manage inventory levels responsibly and ensures we can continue to bring in fresh, curated pieces. It also supports the time, care, and resources our team invests in preparing, inspecting, and handling each return.

Do you cover the shipping cost for return?

No, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. If you decide to return an item, we recommend keeping the original packaging and bill of lading. This will make it easier for you to re-ship the item, ideally with the same carrier, and help ensure it’s safely returned to us.

When will i receive my refund?

Once your return has been received, our team will carefully inspect the item. If we notice any damage or wear, we’ll send you photos, and additional fees may apply.

After your return is approved and processed, we’ll notify you by email. Your refund will be issued to your original form of payment, unless otherwise arranged. Please note, it may take up to 7 business days for the refund to appear on your bank statement.
