MEET THE MAKER

Meet Haley Cole, a ceramic artist with a love for turning everyday objects into something worth holding onto.

From the quiet countryside of Prince Edward Island to the wild beauty of the Rockies, Haley carries a sense of place into everything she creates. Drawn together by a shared love of thoughtful design, slow living, and beauty in the everyday, Haley and Stonewaters came together to create a collection that feels nostalgic, playful, and made to be lived with.

her story

Haley never set out to become a ceramic artist, but she always dreamed of building something of her own. Growing up in PEI, creativity was a quiet constant, spent making art alongside her grandma and great-grandma.

Years later, during the stillness of 2020, a simple pottery wheel changed everything. What began as curiosity quickly became a craft she couldn’t stop exploring. In clay, Haley found the meeting point between creativity and entrepreneurship—a way to make with her hands, follow her ideas, and build the kind of life she had always imagined.

Today, that first spark has grown into a pottery practice and community studio in Canmore, where Haley continues to create, experiment, and share her love of the craft with others.

THE PROCESS

Every piece begins with a simple lump of clay and slowly takes shape in Haley’s hands.

Thrown, shaped, painted, glazed, and fired, each piece passes through her hands dozens of times before it’s finished.

It’s a process that can’t be rushed—and that’s part of the magic.

Small variations and hand-painted details make every piece entirely its own.

THE RESULT

The result is a collection that feels unmistakably Haley x Stonewaters—playful, nostalgic, and made for the everyday. Each piece brings our shared vision to life through Haley’s hand, and we couldn’t be prouder of where it landed.
